〔記者賴淑禎／台中報導〕擔心狂犬病疫情快速蔓延，臺中市政府環保局在台東縣檢出死亡的錢鼠疑似帶有狂犬病毒之後，針對可能會傳染狂犬病的「老鼠一族」進行急性的撲滅行動，從即日起在新社、和平、霧峰、東勢、石岡、霧峰、豐原、神岡、潭子、太平等10個地區優先發放老鼠藥，請需要的民眾到這些地區的清潔隊領取。
