被封「最猛神器」 船蛸自宮還能射

【施旖婕／綜合外電報導】動物界有些動物總有不尋常的能力，被科學家封為擁有「最猛神器」的船蛸，就是一個例子。船蛸是章魚的一種，牠的生殖能力最特殊之處，在於雄船蛸於繁殖季時，能夠「自宮」，隨後生殖器直接游向雌船蛸，讓雌船蛸繁育下一代。 根據國立自然科學博物館的介紹，雄性的船蛸右邊的第3隻腕會特化成「蠕蟲狀」的生殖肢「莖化腕」，並被包裹在一個囊狀的構造當中。交配時生殖肢會破囊而出，並自割留在雌船蛸的身上。同一隻雌船蛸可同時接收來自不同雄性的生殖肢，生殖肢離體之後，可以存活一段時間，不會馬上死亡。
