〔記者賴淑禎／台中報導〕西門子（Siemens）在臺中市設立工具機控制器「技術暨應用中心」（簡稱TAC），30日落成啟用，另外西門子公司也以軟硬體技術指導來贊助臺灣三位選手到德國參加「國際技能競賽」，臺灣西門子總裁艾偉（Erdal Elver）、臺中副市長蕭家淇、經濟部次長杜紫軍3並一起為選手授旗，希望他們能為國爭光。
