〔記者楊伶雯／台北報導〕世界鋼鐵協會(World Steel Association，簡稱worldsteel)自2007年開始發展並推動鋼鐵業專屬的溫室氣體排放資訊收集計畫(CO2 Data Collection Programme)，稱參與者為氣候行動會員(Climate Action Member)，目前已有全球51家鋼鐵公司超過200個鋼鐵廠參與這個計畫，中鋼7日指出，在今年4月9日獲世界鋼鐵協會頒發『氣候行動星級會員認證』，表揚對於推動溫室氣體減量的貢獻，為我國唯一獲得該認證的鋼鐵企業。
