〔大陸新聞中心／綜合報導〕英國一本新書《拿破崙的痔瘡》說，痔瘡是讓拿破崙在滑鐵盧戰役失敗的真正原因。滑鐵盧戰役前兩天，醫生把水蛭弄丟了，最後只好給他吃止痛藥。止痛藥效果不大，痛得拿破崙沒辦法騎馬去前線，貽誤了軍機，吃了敗仗。
