〔大陸新聞中心／綜合報導〕美國駐廣州領事館領事處發現不明粉末，領事處隨即閉館展開調查。記者從美領館方面獲悉， 領事處繼續閉館，目前沒有任何傷亡報告。受此影響，全大陸辦理「移民類」赴美簽證的機構全部受到影響， 原定預約面談的市民已經改期， 另外安排時間面談。
