王豐鑫中止6連敗　單場最有價值球員

Lamigo桃猿王豐鑫與義大犀牛曼尼硬碰硬，雖然被轟出大號全壘打，但先發6局僅失1分，加上牛棚力保戰果，助桃猿以3比2力克犀牛，中止6連敗。王豐鑫拿下今年第2勝，並且獲選為單場最有價值球員。
 
王豐鑫前5局力保不失分，6局下對上曼尼，第1球投壞球，他猜曼尼可能會等1球，想以滑球搶好球，結果被逮個正著。這是曼尼第6支全壘打，再次超越統一獅陳鏞基，獨居全壘打王。曼尼在4局下也轟出界外全壘打，差點締造來台首場雙響砲。
 
犀牛比賽末段反撲力道驚人，7、8局都攻佔滿壘，但只靠陳志偉在8局下的內野安打，追回1分。桃猿許銘倢在7局下接連解決胡金龍與高國輝2名旅美球員，讓犀牛留下滿壘殘壘。
