涉打死周歲兒　中國男求判死刑

1名張姓婦人4月4日與前夫生的女兒到韓國旅遊，留下中國籍蔡姓丈夫與甫滿周歲兒子在家，隔天蔡男疑精神不穩，3度抱兒子持刀向鄰居揮舞，台中市社會處將男嬰緊急安置到嘉義縣水上鄉外婆家，蔡父送醫清醒後直奔岳母家與兒子同睡，男嬰卻猝死。

相驗結果嬰兒無外傷，但左後腦皮下出血，是腦震盪導致腦水腫致命；檢方研判男嬰可能半夜哭鬧，蔡男拍打安撫兒子時，疑用力過猛造成嬰兒腦震盪，檢方今依傷害致死罪起訴。蔡男偵訊時，多次說「兒子死了，他也不想活了」，還要求法官判他死刑。
