〔記者葉立斌／台北報導〕在8月剛開始，就有輕度颱風形成。輕度颱風燕子(Jebi)在2日凌晨2時的中心位置，在鵝鑾鼻西南方1030公里之海面上，以時速23公里速度，向西北轉西北西進行，預測在3日凌晨2時，位在鵝鑾鼻西南西方150公里。
