〔記者林弘展／台北報導〕嚴明是馬英九當總統後，第一位被馬英九晉升上將的親信將領，甚至今年1月20日，離嚴明屆齡退伍不到11個，還特別將嚴明調升參謀總長、後又要讓嚴明能順利延任參謀總長任職，特別運作軍系推動「陸海空軍軍士官服役條例」，要延長嚴明的參謀總長任期，此一任期延長，至少可以跟馬的任期同進退。
