谷巴渡假村老董　池塘意外溺斃

【吳傑沐／苗栗報導】苗栗縣造橋鄉著名的古巴木炭窯渡假村老董張啟翔（74歲），今天午後獨自駕駛怪手，在度假村對面的蚊帳窩整地，未料進行開挖池塘邊坡時，因土石鬆軟怪手栽進池塘，張某離開怪手後，跑到對面山溝，脫下衣褲赤裸下水，準備疏通排水涵管，洩放池水，以利怪手脫困，未料卻被吸進涵管溺斃。

傍晚，張的兒子到現場要叫父親回家吃飯時，不見蹤影，發現怪手落池，池塘岸邊有擺放整齊衣褲，驚覺不妙趕緊報請消防隊搜救。由於池水相當渾濁，水深達3米，苗栗縣消防局出動潛水人員到場，6時40分左右，才順利尋獲其遺體，將他拉救上岸；全案正由警方調查釐清中。
