〔記者范文濱╱桃園報導〕行駛數十年，擔任運煤任務連接龜山、桃園、蘆竹的桃林鐵路，已於去年12月31日停駛走入歷史，然而停駛至今已將近八個月，地方民眾殷殷期盼桃林鐵路能夠活化再生，卻苦等不到明確規劃方向。立法委員陳根德對此也相當著急，特別提醒相關單位能夠加速進行，因為停駛後的鐵路不僅已經雜草叢生、蚊蟲孳生，更已成為治安的死角，對地方發展與民眾安全造成威脅。
