〔記者方正東／天津報導〕天津人用最短的時間蓋好兩座棒球場，迎接東亞運棒球賽的到來，但棒球場內沒有專屬棒球項目的新聞中心，而是與曲棍球、射擊兩個項目共用，記者要到新聞中心發稿，距離相當遠，至少得走20分鐘以上，這在一般大型的國際賽事相當少見。
