〔記者林重鎣／台中報導〕為推廣太平山林美景，台中市太平區公所、太平農會舉辦第四屆龍騰太平系列活動，2日上午登場的寫生比賽，邀請全國喜愛畫畫的國小學童參與，透過孩子們的見聞與筆觸，為當地樹齡330歲的珍貴老樟樹，留下美麗影像。3日下午則有登山健行活動。
