【施旖婕／綜合外電報導】科學家不斷花時間想找出下一個地球，美國科學家透過天文望遠鏡，近日就發表指出，發現4.2萬個跟太陽相似的恆星，並推斷出44億個行星跟地球的氣溫和體積差不多，有可能孕育出生命。

科學家指出，目前已有3500顆行星是成為地球第2的「候補名單」，最近的行星距離地球為12光年，用肉眼就可以看見。
