在老鳥帶路下，來到酸菜的故鄉∣─雲林新埤鄉外拍，除第一時間的嗅覺感知外，前所未見的壯觀製作場景，讓人震撼。

當天是假日，各家動員人手，不分男女老少，在不同流程的位置上，撒鹽、攪拌、壓榨、裝填等，有秩序的分工合作，為我們餐桌上不起眼的酸菜揮汗忙碌。

鏡頭下的他們，一式的熟練動作與專注表情，少有閒聊，每人都把握這個芥菜豐收時節，努力工作，期待靠自己勞力，讓家人過個好年。
