天主教中國華東上海教區助理主教金魯賢，今日因胰臟癌去世，享年97歲。金魯賢長期患有心臟病和糖尿病，去年聖誕節因健康惡化而住院。

金魯賢一直是中梵雙方均重視的教會領袖。2007年接受訪問時曾說：「梵蒂岡認為我為教廷所做的不夠，中方卻認為我為梵蒂岡做得太多。」在中國教會內，有天主教徒批評他是中梵之間的投機者。
