外交部今天晚間發布新聞稿表示，經過我駐菲律賓代表處與馬尼拉經濟文化辦事處（Manila Economic and Cultural Office, MECO）持續協商，菲方維持原先承諾，於本（5）月20日上午，在菲律賓國家調查局（National Bureau of Investigation, NBI），會見我駐菲律賓代表處人員及法務部主任檢察官楊婉莉，對於我國籍漁船「廣大興28號」遭菲國公務船槍擊案，就司法互助事項，進行工作階層的相關程序問題會商，歷時約2小時。

外交部說，雙方協議，對相互的司法互助請求彼此給予協助，為未來雙方共同合作調查本案，奠定初步基礎。
