小心！獸醫警告　家貓也恐傳播牛結核病

【綜合報導】家貓也有可能傳染牛結核病(bovine tuberculosis)，愛丁堡皇家大學獸醫系的研究人員表示，百分之一的貓可能帶有結核桿菌，正因數量不多，更容易被忽略，成為隱形傳染者。
 
英國獸醫協會前主席卡爾派吉特(Carl Padgett)表示，飼主通常都和寵物貓有親密接觸，很容易就被傳染，特別是生活在郊區的貓咪，較容易接觸到其他帶有結核桿菌的動物，跟著將細菌帶回家，就可能傳染給飼主。
 
獸醫提醒如果發現家中貓咪傷口很久都好不了，或是呼吸系統出現問題，就因就醫檢查是否有感染牛結核病的可能。
