〔記者陳榮昌／台中報導〕大甲草蓆帽在30年代聞名國內外，自國內工商業起飛後，頓成夕陽手工藝，各界為挽救這手藝回春，開設研習班、並往下紮根，想盡辦法，卻難重獲曙光。熱衷推動文化藝術的大甲裕珍馨，收集草蓆帽用具、成果及製作栩栩如生，極具鄉土味的編織布偶在三寶館，為大甲草帽蓆之延續盡一份心意。
