〔大陸新聞中心／綜合報導〕近日有人在澳大利亞塔斯馬尼亞島海岸附近發現一種奇特的新型海底生物——學名叫做Pyrostremma spinosum的巨大蠕蟲。這種極其罕見的生物又被稱為「海之獨角獸」，牠們的身體可長達100英尺(約30公尺)，呈現半透明的中空狀態，是由一種叫做zooid的物質繁衍生成。每一個zooid僅有幾毫米大小，牠們緊密連結在一起，組成海蠕蟲管道形狀的身體。
