〔記者陳榮昌／台中報導〕具有萬名員工的大甲幼獅工業區，長久來上下班所依賴的交通，因沒公車路線而感到不便，且根據警方統計，沿途交通擁擠且事故發生頻率過高。市議員吳敏濟6日邀集相關單位官員進行會勘，並爭得市府首肯，決定開闢大甲市區銜接幼獅工業區及台中航空站的8公里免費公車，初訂在年底前上路。
