〔記者曹逸雯／台北報導〕針對核三廠2號機備用電源故障且長達84天，被列為「一級事件」，系統異常時間甚至包括馬英九總統夜宿核三廠期間，令外界大呼不可思議，台電17日表示，在7月1日發現後，已立刻恢復161kV備援供電功能，並呈報原能會，目前操作程序已改善完成，並已對包含廠長等相關人員予以懲處。
