載父看病　撞樹車禍重傷

【李陳信得／台中報導】台中市和平區一名李姓男子今日上午帶著85歲的老父到東勢看病自己也吃了胃藥，中午回程時在台八線中橫公路28公里處，因吃藥恍神撞到路旁的大樹翻覆。李男爬出車外求救，老父則在車內待援，消防隊趕赴現場將老翁從車內抬出，發現全身多處撕裂傷，右肩骨折先固定包紮後送東勢農民醫院再轉送沙鹿童綜合醫院。
