【綜合報導】近幾年有許多科學家不斷研究氣候變遷的因素和結果，但溫度計的資料紀錄只能回溯1個世紀，若想要再進一步獲得氣候變遷資料，就可能要倚賴大自然的力量了。 根據英國BBC報導，除了樹木年輪可以告訴科學家一些答案，英國的邦格大學(Bangor University)的研究人員，最近正利用一顆具有507歲年齡的蛤蠣來進行研究。研究人員表示，蛤蠣上的紋路正是氣候變遷的另一種紀錄，如此可以推算1世紀以前的氣候冷熱改變。
