〔記者陳榮昌／台中報導〕外埔區數十年來農民種植釀酒葡萄技術高、生產力亦雄厚，可惜民國八十五年公賣局終止契收後，葡農轉型種植不盡理想，致再恢復生產釀酒葡萄，酒莊亦紛設立，但最近在強烈取締酒駕下，酒品生意下滑。永豐里發展協會理事長策畫承辦紅酒馬拉松嘉年華會， 找回盛期時的葡萄歷史風華，預定二至三千人共襄盛舉，詎料上網報名三天就達七百人，給承單位有十足的信心。
