〔記者黃村杉／新北報導〕免費肝病篩檢活動5日於新莊體育館舉行，雖然氣候不佳下著大雨，但民眾仍把握機會踴躍排隊參加，現場志工熱心協助，招呼填妥基本資料，並導引協助抽血抽檢。肝病防治學術基金會表示，整個上午計有二千五百人完成檢驗，檢查結果將在兩週後寄出，有異常者將由衛生福利部台北醫院協助追蹤。
