〔記者沈俐萱／日本報導〕母親牧場是由日本產經新聞、東京鐵塔的創建者前田久吉先生所設計規劃，前田先生出生在大阪郊外的農家，生活非常困苦，小時候常常聽到母親說：「家裡要是有頭牛，日子就會好多了！」長大後，這句話總是縈繞在他心頭，而後因他深感畜牧業在日本必將占有一席之地，為了振興日本畜牧業斥資建造了這座牧場，並命名「母親牧場」，表示將牧場獻給他已去世的母親。
