〔記者郭政隆／嘉義報導〕20日於嘉義市立棒球場停車場所辦理的「102年度若竹兒愛心園遊會」，係財團法人若竹兒教育基金會為籌募教養經費所辦之活動，現場有園遊會攤位100個及園遊券參與義賣，義賣所得及攤位收入全數捐贈給基金會作為照顧院童所需，攤位內容有若竹兒自製產品、成果展、捐贈物資囊括食、衣、育、樂等物品義賣販售，吃、喝、玩、樂，應有盡有，還安排精彩歌舞表演十分熱鬧，並有配合響應環保以「低碳家園」為主題的繪畫比賽，吸引近千名民眾參加，嘉義市政府副市長李錫津及地方民意代表都親到會場表達支持，自來水公司第五區管理處亦愛心不落人後，特於活動當日免費支援水車提供當天民眾的用水需求。
