〔記者顏真真／台北報導〕運動員投保意外險限制多，依據現行規定，從事角力、柔道、跆拳道、馬術、拳擊、特技等競賽或表演，導致死、殘廢或傷害，都不在意外險理賠範圍，不過，壽險業建議，其他職業等級第1至4類的運動員，仍可選擇還本型意外險，除了沒有加費的困擾外，繳費期滿仍生存時，還可領回全部實際所繳保險費。
