〔大陸新聞中心／綜合報導〕比特犬「薯球」被安樂死前幾小時，被當地一名婦人領養走；4天後，新主人的4歲兒血糖下降意識不清，薯球狂吠叫醒主人，緊急將他送醫救回一命。獸醫說，「小狗的嗅覺很敏銳」，當血糖下降時，體內的酮體會增加，薯球可能就是聞到那種味道救了小主人一命。
