〔記者邱明玉／花蓮報導〕前總統李登輝環島走透透的「生命之旅」今（23）日來到花蓮，他下午前往「玉山神學院」和學員進行座談時，透露他在1988年前總統蔣經國逝世之際， 臨危受命繼任總統一職，接任總統的那一晚，因為不知道怎麼當總統，讓他整夜睡不著，結果太太曾文惠就說一起來祈禱，李前總統說，他就是靠祈禱求上帝給他指引，使他可以面對各種難關與考驗，他也藉此強調信仰對領導者的重要。
