〔記者賴淑禎／台中報導〕為減少空氣汙染，環保單位積極推動，停車不熄火，車子怠速等候超過3分鐘，臺中市政府環境保護局未來針對怠速累犯車輛，將不再先行勸導，如經查核人員蒐證車輛怠速超過3分鐘，將予以開罰，機車處罰新臺幣1,500元、小型車及大型車則分別處罰3,000元及5,000元。
