【陳意佳／台北報導】劉若英昨天到北京大學、中國傳媒大學演講，分別以「幸運與選擇」和「夢想」為主題，與莘莘學子分享生活經驗。她透露，高中畢業後到美國念書，曾因不適應單獨生活，苦得想要放棄，她打電話給祖父，表達想放棄學業回台灣，但祖父卻嚴厲地說：「如果妳大學沒有畢業，妳死都要死在美國。」祖父過去對她有求必應，態度突然這麼嚴厲，也讓她學會自己克服難關。
