【王智勇／台南報導】台南市東山區一名潘姓男子（５０歲）疑酒後鬧情緒，透過友人向警察揚言今晚要在嘉南大圳木柵段跳水，台南市消防局接獲轉報後，立即出動大批警義消人員和橡皮艇、潛水人員趕到現場搜救，目前仍在搜救中。
　消防人員說，潘男子已多次揚言跳水的紀錄，第一次潘男要跳水時正巧被員警拉住，救了他一命，前幾天，潘男第二次揚言跳水，結果竟是跑去和朋友喝酒，昨晚潘男又向員警揚言，他準備去跳水，還要員警幫他收屍，警消人員不敢大意，因此仍出動大批人馬趕到現場搜救，但截至凌晨１２時仍未發現潘男蹤影。
