【陳建緯／台北報導】台北市警方日前接獲民眾報案表示，1名董姓女子因與家人吵架負氣離家，還傳來簡訊揚言自殺。中正一分局忠孝西路派出所3名警員王永勤、賈立任、楊景翔得知後，依照董女手機訊號發現，董女發話地點應在台北車站附近，隨即到轄內數十家旅館、飯店查訪旅客名單，但是仍未發現董女。

但3名警員下班後仍不放棄，當晚11時許，仍分別到轄區內旅館地毯式搜尋；終於在隔天凌晨1時許，找到剛投宿的董女，不過她情緒依然激動不願開門，於是3人在門外對董女不斷勸說、開導，讓她了解人生的美好，不要輕言放棄，總算讓董女放棄輕生念頭。
 
董女家人得知消息後，對於3名警員鍥而不捨精神深表感謝，還主動寫信給市長信箱，請市長能表揚3警的義行。
