〔記者陳榮昌／台中報導〕前台中縣議員林素真十餘年來推動大甲、大安及外埔等地區自行車休閒活動、力爭開闢自行車道及建設，有極大成就，迄今擁有近500名車友，經常連袂到各地騎車賞景郊遊，每當她鳳凰獅子會舉辦單車悠遊之際，參加人數都突破三千騎。她說；這種健身又具聯誼的活動服務，符合當今社會各階層人士的需求。時下迫卻結合自行車廠商，組成自行車專區，讓雄厚單車實力的大甲，便利民眾購得高及自行車及零件。
