210年舊法失效　巴黎女人安心穿褲

在當局表示一條超過200年的禁令不再具有法律效力後，巴黎女人終於可以安心穿長褲上街，而不必擔心遭到刑事起訴。
 
「中央社」報導，法國女權部長瓦洛貝卡森（Najat Vallaud-Belkacem）在聲明中說，這條從1800年11月17日起實施的禁令，與現代法國價值和法律相牴觸。
 
巴黎市的這道禁令，要求巴黎女人如果要穿長褲、「裝扮得像個男子」，必須尋求市警局許可。這道命令在1892及1909年經過修訂，允許女性在「騎單車或騎馬時」穿長褲，但是一直沒有正式廢除。
 
瓦洛貝卡森在參議院公報以書面答覆說，這項命令雖未正式廢除，實際上已無效力。巴黎女人在法國大革命（1789-1799）期間要求穿長褲的權利，當時資產階級男士愛穿絲質及膝馬褲，而工人階級革命分子則穿長褲。
