陽岱鋼雖在6局下敲出斷棒安打，有1分打點，但最後一打席在兩好三壞後遭巨人投手杉內俊哉三振，連續場次至少雙安打紀錄在「9」停止，無緣追平太平洋聯盟連10場紀錄，不過陽岱鋼連15場比賽有安打，日本火腿2比1擊敗巨人。
