〔大陸新聞中心／綜合報導〕Skype for Android的總安裝量已超過1億，微軟剛剛發布了其全新的版本（目前尚未在Google Play放出）。由於全面使用了Metro UI，整體觀感就像是其Windows Phone版本的變種。應用裡扁平化的UI元素，以及在Skype for Windows 8 和 Windows Phone 8裡再熟悉不過的藍白配色，給這款重新設計的應用一種Metro的風格。Skype還表示，新版的Android的運行速度有了很大提升。
