〔記者顏真真／台北報導〕對於外傳台商存放在國際金融業務分行（OBU）存款出現提前逃亡的撤資現象，對此，中央銀行9日表示，經查與事實不符，OBU並未出現資金流失之情況，而全體OBU收受存款餘額呈穩定成長趨勢。
