〔記者王鼎鈞／台北報導〕苗栗大埔4戶已拆，面對外界的評論，當年任行政院長主持協調的吳敦義副總統重申，苗栗縣府依法執行的處境。吳副總統還說，「我做地方首長16年半，拆除過很多房屋，沒有出現過任何衝突的狀況，我希望凡事都能求最大的圓滿，至於違背法律和道德的事，我不做評論」。
