〔記者黃村杉／新北報導〕針對台灣地區狂犬病的疫情，新北市動保處長張麗珍表示，目前新北市所有檢出均為陰性，市民毋需恐慌。並強調民眾只要遵守「2要3不」防疫原則，強調「2要」是每年要施打1次疫苗及要記得通報；至於「3不」則是不棄養犬貓、不疏縱寵物及不接觸野生動物。
