【短片】推動廢死作家張娟芬　2度獲歐盟獎學金

【許敏溶／台北報導】由歐盟資助的Erasmus Mundus獎學金，台灣今年共有11人獲得，其中6名為博士生，錄取率23.1%，創歷年最佳，也是世界第8、亞洲第1，勝過日本、中國、美國等，學生每人每年可獲2.4萬歐元(近台幣100萬元)作為學費及生活費。

長期推動廢除死刑的人權作家張娟芬，今日也拿到博士獎學金，她在2006年已獲歐盟碩士獎學金，她說，國內目前對犯罪行為看法，大致認為「嚴刑峻法可遏止犯罪」，但歐盟則認為改善社會制度，才可有效降低犯罪率，希望在攻讀博士學位後，能將這些觀念帶回台灣。
