〔地方中心／台北報導〕苗栗縣是陶瓷發展的重鎮，人才輩出，更一度是臺灣最大的陶瓷產地，地方人士對於推展在地客家陶藝藝術新形象以及提升產業活力不遺餘力。中華民國陶藝協會特別於9／6到10／6於竹南鎮「苗北藝術中心」舉辦「2013全國陶藝（壺音）特展在苗栗」，廣邀全國陶瓷藝術工作者齊聚苗栗進行聯合展出，結合各界藝術公益團體，共同推廣陶、茶、花等多樣人文藝術，希望以不同風格的特色來呈現，落實「生活藝術化、藝術生活化」的境界，讓全國民眾發現苗栗陶瓷之美。
