除夕是全家圍爐的重要日子，不少家庭避開中北部的濕冷天氣，到陽光普照的墾丁過「暖烘烘的除夕」，墾丁地區度假飯店今天七有至九成住房率，高檔民宿幾乎客滿；還有15個家庭選在國立海生館夜宿，圍爐後與企鵝、魚兒守歲、共眠。
