美教評會建議採計5線上課程學分

對美國各大學校長提供建言的美國教育評議會，7日為五門大規模線上開放課程（MOOC）背書，建議各大學採計這些課程的學分。許多人把MOOC的推動視為「瓦解」傳統大學學分系統，但教評會的上述決定向兩系統的銜接邁出了重大一步。

美國教評會背書的五門線上開放課程，都由線上教學平台「課程時代公司」（Coursera）提供，分別是杜克大學的「遺傳學及演化導論」、「量化生物電學」，爾灣加州大學的「微積分先修」、「代數」，及賓州大學的「微積分：單一變數」。

但教評會僅提供建議，是否採計線上課程學分的決定權，仍掌握在各大學手中。
