反同志婚姻　史學家巴黎聖母院飲彈自殺

法國知名史學家、78歲男子韋內(Dominique Venner)，當地時間昨天(21日)下午，在巴黎聖母院內飲彈自殺。警方表示，韋內在教堂的主祭台旁邊，拿出一把手槍放進嘴裏隨即開槍，子彈貫穿腦部，當場死亡。韋內沒有留下遺書，但在屍體旁邊發現一字條。

星期二當天稍早，韋內在自己的部落格發文批評總統奧蘭德(Francois Hollande)剛簽署的《同性婚姻法案》。他說：「需要以行動來喚醒夢遊者，同時震撼已經麻木的良知，我們正進入言出必行的時代。」據傳，韋內曾經是秘密軍隊組織的成員。這個組織曾反對阿爾及利亞在1960年代初期脫離法國獨立，並曾試圖暗殺當時的總統戴高樂。
