車牌重號 16日起將到府更換

（中央社記者汪淑芬台北2日電）去年底新式車牌上路後，發現不同車種卻有相同車號。公路總局同意免費換，但民眾意願低。公路總局16日起，主動到府服務。
交通部公路總局統計，包括汽車與機車、營業大客車與舊機車等，共3萬8000多組車牌號碼重號，至今只有約2000多組車牌已更換。
公路總局說，可能多數車主嫌麻煩，即使更換車牌是免費，意願仍不高。因此16日起，增加到府服務，包括車主住家或工作地點，並以上班時間為限。
公路總局說，重號車牌更換以新式機車和營業大貨車、營業小客車、自用拖車和大型重型機車優先。但尊重車主意願，如果車主不願更換，也不會強迫，換完後則會通知重號的另一方。
公路總局估計，已發出的重號車牌共有3萬8238組，以自用小客車和普通重型機車的新式車牌最多，超過3萬3000多組，其他車種和舊機車車牌重號大約有4700多組。1020702
