中市公車搭乘人數大增再闢新路線

台中市還沒有捷運，市府交通局闢建多條新的公車路線，連接各區，七月起又有大里到高鐵站以及新市政中心的151線公車上路，市長胡志強今天主持151線體驗活動表示，台中市搭乘公車人數，原先一個月只有40萬人次，市府推出8公里免費優惠後，原本預估每月400萬人次，沒想到現在已達860萬人次之多，原先編列的預算還不夠用，胡市長笑稱這是「甜蜜的負荷」，市府甘之如飴！
